Lotus might be known for impressively quick, high-end two-door sports cars, but the British automaker has ventured into new territory with the all-new 2025 Lotus Eletre. This electrified hyper-SUV delivers eye-popping horsepower along with innovative interior technology. The Lotus Electre performance SUV is available for sale at Lotus of Naples, conveniently located between Bonita Springs and Marco Island.
The Lotus Eletre is available in three trim levels, with the entry-level powertrain delivering 603 horsepower. The Lotus Eletre specs begin with a 109.0-kWh battery pack. Lotus claims the entry-level Eletre gets 373 miles of range. All models have all-wheel drive, and the higher trims add more performance technology, which results in a lower real-world range. The top trim, the Eletre R, produces 905 horsepower, 985 lb-ft of torque, and a zero-to-60 time under three seconds thanks to an upgraded rear motor and a two-speed gearbox.
Lotus outfitted the Eletre with an 800-volt charging architecture so that the EV can charge quickly at a 350-kW DC fast charging station. With ideal conditions, the Eletre charges from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes. This is a similar charging speed to the Porsche Taycan, BMW iX, and Lamborghini Urus.
Lotus Eletre performance features include adaptive dampers and air springs, which raise and lower based on the vehicle’s drive mode. The dual motors work together to deliver top speeds between 160 and 165 MPH. Lotus also includes a multi-link suspension with air suspension to enhance the rear-wheel steering. For safety, the Eletre has an active anti-roll bar for an athletically comfortable driving experience.
The Lotus Eletre ushers in a new luxury look the British automaker. The four-door SUV has seating for up to five, and Lotus outfitted the cabin with sustainable materials like Alcantara synthetic suede. The SUV has several configurable screens highlighted by the large 15.1-inch central infotainment touchscreen which uses the Geely ECARX platform. All Eletre trims will have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Optional features include a head-up display and an audio system with 23 speakers.
Drivers can add the optional “Highway Assist Pack” that includes a perception system using lidar sensors and cameras to help drivers avoid potential hazards and stay safe on the road. Optional tech features include Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist.
